Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is your name? My actual name is Arianna, but you can call me Anna. Check out my “About Me” page to learn more! 2. What type of books do you review? Most of the time, I’ll be reviewing YA books, but recently, I’ve been reading a lot more NA books, so you’ll also be reading reviews of those to. To see my NA reviews click here. To see my YA reviews click here. 3. What inspired you to start blogging about books? I’ve always had a passion for writing and books, so I decided to write about the books I’ve read. I absolutely loved sharing with others what I read and giving them recommendations based on what I knew about their likes and dislikes. Reading is important to me, so is writing, and I feel like I need to let others in on what they might be missing. I’ve also grabbed inspiration from the BookTuber’s that I follow e.g., Sasha Alsberg “abookutopia”, Christine “polandbananasBOOKS”, and several others. 4. You mentioned before that you’re a writer and you publish them on a specific site. What kind of books do you write and where do you post them? I’ve written romance, mystery, horror, poetry, and many other genre’s, most of my works are between YA and NA, but I’ve gained readers of all ages (and genders). I currently post my work on Wattpad. If you want more information, please contact me. 5. Do you take requests or suggestions on what book(s) to read? Absolutely! You’ve seen my type of books to read, and I’m always open to other genre’s, so please request away. I may also consider reviewing a certain book if it’s requested frequently, but I am willing to review any book*. 6. Do you have a specific schedule on when you will be posting reviews? Not at the moment, no, but if you’ve subscribed and left your email, you’ll be sure to get a notification when I do post. Also look out for memes as I will be doing several throughout the month. 7. How do you rate the books you read? I rate my books from 0-5 stars, please remember that when I rate these books it is out of my opinion, which means it's very biased and opinionated. Keep that in mind: 0 - I hated the book, there was no storyline, no plot, no character development, no point to the book at all! (I rarely rate books a "0") 1 - I don't hate the book, but I also don't really like it. It's like I'm reading a rough draft that needs major work. The story has some plot, but there's not a lot of focus and there's random characters that are not explained, etc. 2 - I didn't necessarily enjoy the story. It still needs some major editing and a main focus throughout the book. The rough draft is getting a little better. Characters are still out of wack and it was just plain boring. Not my cup of tea, but could have progress. 3 - The book was ok, it had some good characters and a normal plot. Sort of an average book, but I did enjoy it. 4 - I really liked it, other than a few aversions, it was a really great story and had great characters. Definitely a good read. 5 - I absolutely loved it! One of my favorites. Fantastic storyline and plot, amazing character development, and a superb story. I couldn't put it down. If you’re question wasn’t answered, please leave me an email and I’ll try to answer them immediately! *Please take note that, though I do love books, I may not like certain books and will choose not to read them. Please don’t be upset if this happens, I’m sure there are many other bloggers that have done this before, but you can always do research on someone that might have already reviewed the book. |
